The “futuro anteriore” helps to sequence future events by marking actions that will be completed before another future event. It can also be used to express probability or supposition about a past action.
This tense is used with “essere” or “avere” as auxiliary verbs, following the same rules as the “passato prossimo”, with agreement in gender and number when “essere” is used.
